Gary Butcher, owner and in-field operator of 2 Rivers Tree & Hardscapes, has been serving Boise and the Treasure Valley since 1996. As an ISA Certified Arborist since 1998, Gary has built his reputation around honest work, professional tree care, and hands-on experience in the field — not from behind a desk.

From hazardous tree removals and precision pruning to tree health assessments and lot clearing, Gary personally helps lead projects using professional equipment like the Leguan lift, cranes, and modern spurless climbing techniques designed to protect and preserve healthy trees whenever possible.

Today, 2 Rivers Tree & Hardscapes proudly provides full-service tree care, stump grinding, hardscapes, trimming, and arborist services throughout Boise and the surrounding Treasure Valley communities. For Gary, caring for Idaho’s trees is more than a business — it’s a legacy built over decades of experience and pride in serving the community.
